The basis of Franna's work is a lifelong passion for drawing. She loves the immediacy of it--the gesture and movement and the ability to capture a moment or thought, beyond words. Franna uses oil paint, oil stick, charcoal, graphite, and oil pastel in work that evolves around portraiture and collage.
